Creative Objective

Here is your chance to re-interpret official assets for world famous artist BERT RODRIGUEZ. Download the asset files and submit your own unique take on this highly regarded creative mastermind, with the general theme of "Neon & Summer Love."  Please follow the BYVM Rules, Guidelines, and enter now for your chance to win $500!  

The winning designs in this contest will be the ones that offer the most innovative take on a well-known brand, as decided by BYVM users and each contest’s judging panel. You’ll start with whatever brand assets are provided, but from there you’ve got a blank canvas. Can you make us look at an iconic brand in a completely new way?  Let’s see what you’ve got.

Bert Rodriguez is a contemporary visual artist who works with a range of media, and genres, including installation, performance, and photography. He uses various methods to translate his ideas, which explore the relationship existing between art and audience. He received a BFA in Painting from New World School of the Arts, Miami, FL, and also attended Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Skowhegan, ME.

Bert Rodriguez’s work has been shown widely nationally and abroad, including exhibitions at several prestigious institutions, such as in New Work Miami 2010, at the Miami Art Museum, Miami, FL; Convention (2009), at the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami, FL; Whitney Biennial (2008), at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, NY; At This Time (2005), at the Rubell Family Collection, Miami, FL; and Becoming Father, Becoming Infant (2004), at the Bronx Museum, Bronx, NY.
